I came across these two quotes from A. W. Tozer in his book, Knowledge of the Holy, that express exactly why the pursuit of the knowledge of God is a worthy pursuit both for his glory and our benefit. He states,
“I believe there is scarcely an error in doctrine or a failure in applying Christian ethics that cannot be traced finally to imperfect or ignoble thoughts about God.”
And again,
“The man who comes to a right belief about God is relieved of ten thousand temporal problems.”
Amen!
